I've had my Momitsu BDP-899 for around 2 years now and have yet to have a problem with it. I got an Emotiva UMC-1 processor and am loving separates. Only thing is that the remotes of the UMC-1 and the BDP-899 are mixed somehow. When I press 'Up' on the Blu-Ray player remote, it changes the input on the UMC-1, when I press 'Up' on the volume on the UMC-1 remote, it does a 'FullStop' on the Blu-Ray player.
These types of problems go on, simply put, the signals are somehow mixed. I'm getting the new remote for the UMC-1 in the mail any day, so that should fix it doing stuff to the Blu-Ray player. Is there a way of changing the code in the remote of the Blu-Ray player so that it doesn't mess with the processor? It's getting frustrating to have to manually control everything. How do I fix this? Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thanks everyone. Last edited by 28BlusLater; 08-09-2010 at 07:48 AM. |
