Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I recently formatted my PS3 back to factory settings and have gone about re-downloading all my games and whatnot.
I have a couple accounts that I have used over the years, one I had from the beginning and another I started using primarily (the Groo account) a few years back. However looking in now there are games and videos missing from my downloads. 1. The God of War: Unearthing the Legend documentary is missing from my video tab. There are only three videos listed in there, but I know for a fact there are more videos that I downloaded. 2. I had downloaded some of the "Welcome Back" games in my old account as well as my new account, however my old account does not have the games in there that I downloaded. Not very happy about this and cannot understand why they would remove items that I downloaded from the list. Has this happened to anyone else? |

I know they were there because prior to my resetting my system a few days ago, I had the Unearthing the Legend video downloaded on my PS3, I just never had gotten around to watching it. In the video tab for my Groo account I KNOW I have downloaded more than three bleeping videos, so the only explanation I can think of is that for whatever reason, they were removed from my account. Unless there's more than one video tab in the store. |

Also, try (going by memory here) Account Management on the XMB, Services, and look for the Welcome Back program. Select it, and it should take you to the store and show you your picks. Try downloading them from there.
As for the video tab, the download history there is normally blank, I'm surprised anything shows up there for you. |

When I upgraded to my slim in March I lost flOw. Never showed up in my download history, subscription, no bag in the store saying I ever bought it. But I did, and played it, as my trophies show. It was the only game that (I noticed) I lost, so I just let it go.

Not gonna complain to them about it because I have ZERO faith in them doing anything about it, however it is irritating and frustrating and makes me wonder what else that they have removed from my account history without me knowing it. |

EDIT: I also looked in Transaction History and Download List and found my free games. Last edited by PirateBooty; 12-11-2011 at 03:00 AM. Reason: more info. |

This is the inherent danger that lies in us relying on the convenience of the digital world, and this isn't a finger-point at Sony or anyone/anything in particular. I've already made a call to Sony customer service to where we should, as customers, be able to go into our Account Management via a browser and be able to better manage our purchase history and whatnot and be able to "keep a record" of our transactions on our computers, in case we have to go back and dispute something or just plain keep track of what we do in regards to the PSN.
Unsurprisingly, on a somewhat related note, I went back into the Playstation.com website to see what was going on with the Account Management screen and I get this wonderful little note: Granted, I believe the option to access the PS3 Account Management is still available via the Qriocity/Sony portal but I find it disturbing that this isn't made obvious to the mass customer base who would go to Playstation.com by default only to receive this somewhat misdirecting message. Looks like another call to Sony's customer service is in order for yours truly. ![]() |

![]() On a less-related note, I found out today that the version of flOw I had was from a promotion which was 1-download only. So even though I never deleted it, and only bought a new console (more money for Sony!), I have to pay for the game to play it again. Awesome. ![]() I wonder what other promos, etc. had once-download restrictions... |
