Unfortunately, The Switch is one of many thousands of films currently in distribution limbo from Miramax Films. It's possible a release could be announced shortly, now that Miramax and Anchor Bay Home Entertainment seem to have struck a deal.

Im a sucker for Jason Bateman and really wanted to rent this. I hope the US announces it soon.

There is a 1080p Blu-ray rip of it online to download. I have watched it. So the Blu-ray is pressed. Btw, the movie is not really a romantic comedy. It is more of a dramedy and it was excellent. Very heartfelt and genuinely funny. Aniston is actually more like a secondary character. Definite recommend. Even for a blind buy.

At least it's a chick flick. If I had to pick a genre of films that did not receive BD releases it would definitely be chick flicks.

Yay! I've added it to my wish list. Being Lionsgate, however, I'll wait for the price drop because their titles always drop relatively quickly.
