I was on http://www.foxnews.com this morning and I saw the story on there. Just look on there home page and click into it. I was shocked when I saw this. He is a very funny actor. I'm wondering what actually happened to make him do this. Hopefully every thing will be ok.

I was just watching Wedding Crashers this weekend on HBO HD. Royal Tenenbaums is also a classic.

Still, I didn't see this coming.

Ironically, I just saw Behind Enemy Lines with him a couple of days ago for the first time. Up until now I only wanted to see him in comedies and was never really interested in Enemy Lines. It turned out to be a pretty good movie, even if its somewhat unbelievable.

I hope he gets better.

Yeah I just watched that movie on Blu Ray a few weeks ago. I was thinking about that when I saw this. I was shocked. It's too bad. I just read the article again and they said he is in good condition. That's a good thing hopefully he heals soon.

Fame sadly comes at a hefty price. some can handle it and others cant.

its not all glamour at all.

Fame and Hollywood had nothing to do with this. Frequently drug use or alcoholism is more prevalent there which can lead to a decay in mental strength. People who are successful still stuffer from issues. We're all human and no one is immune to strong negative emotions.

BTW, he's in Broken Arrow on Blu; playing a downed pilot who struggles to stay alive and escape behind enemy lines.

Edit: wrong movie it was Behind Enemy Lines not Broken Arrow. Thanks for the correction. He is a great actor. Get well soon Owen.

i thought broken arrow was the john woo movie? a broken arrow is a lost nuke.
in the UK the film you talk of is called Behind enemy lines, is it different in the USA?.

You mean Behind Enemy Lines. Broken Arrow was with Travolta and Christian Slater.

Sad turn of events, hopefully he recovers fully and can move past this. I've always enjoyed his films.
