Question Where can I get a good quality HDMI 1.3 cable from?

I'm buying a new tv in the next month or two and I'd like to get a good quality hdmi 1.3 certified cable to go from my hdmi 1.3 PS3 to my hdmi 1.3 tv. Any suggestions for sites/cables?

www.monoprice.com

Unless you relish the idea of spending $100 on an HDMI cable from one of the overpriced big box stores, spend only $10 (including shipping) on a 6' HDMI cable from monoprice. I own 3 of them and they work flawlessly.

Don't listen to him! Go to Best Buy and buy yourself a Monster HDMI cable for only $100. Monster cables last longer and most of all they improve the picture quality.

Buy them in bulk (you can always have an extra) and measure how much length you want. The premium cables at Monoprice are as good or better than you can find in any store.

There was a time when I believed that. I fell victim to Best Buy's game years ago. I have an 8' Monster and a 6' Rocketfish (total spent for the pair was around $150). I have three 6' from Monoprice and a 35' from Monoprice (total spent - about $55 including shipping). I have swapped them around numerous times and I can't see even a slight difference. Digital is digital. It's either all there or not at all there. 0's and 1's will look and sound fantastic whether they are on Monstor cables or Monoprice cables. May as well save yourself some money in the process.

Too bad you don't live near me. I always keep 3-4 HDMI cables in my truck. I would have been happy to give one or two to you. I purchased from Monoprice for about $3.50 and they are perfect.

Monoprice.com the only way to go!

Are all HDMI cables the same, because I've seen some marked as HDMI 1.3 certified on other sites. Do I need one like that or will any othe the ones from Monoprice be fine. I'll be using it to carry HD video signal and possibly the 3D signal, depending on if I get a3D tv.

Momoprice does have HDMI cables that are 1.4. Go to their web side and call them. They are great to work with.

Monoprice is good, I prefer Bluejeans because they're one of the only HDMI cables made in the U.S. and UL rated and certified, also on a moral stand point I buy them because they didn't back down from Monster's legal threats and took it right to Monster.

That I did not know. A great reason to purchase from them.

Blue Jeans Cable is a great company. Although pricey, I've replaced most of my analog audio cables with their LC-1 model. They do sound better than my cheapo analogs. I took a long afternoon comparing them side-by-side--they just sound "tighter" and more dynamic.

I do agree that with HDMI, Monoprice cables will be fine. Even if you're doing in-wall installations they're great. I bought a 35 foot DVI cable that I use regularly (for Kuro gaming when wifey isn't home) and it works flawlessly.
