Default Does Anyone Use Furniture Sliders On They're TV Cabinet?

Hi guys, My TV cabinet is extremely heavy to move with my Kuro,Amps, and other A/V gear in it. So I was wondering if anybody uses those furniture sliders that they sell nowadays? If so, how well do they work?, Which brand?, and where did you get them? Thanks

When I need to slide my riser or my disc rack over, I spray Pledge over the areas I plan to slide over. I let it dry and push the stuff where I need to. It's cheap, easy to use, doesn't stink like WD40 and evaporates pretty quickly over the following few days unless I just clean the hardwood.

I purchased them at Canadian Tire here in Canada, they work pretty good though one may slip and need to be pushed back in during the moving process - patience helps in this. I have a few heavy peices and it dose make the moving easier to reposition the room.

I use shiny smooth metal chrome feets under my main Entertainment rack, but there is simply no way I can move it (it's about half ton with all the gear, and I would damage the wood base doing so).

* If I really want to reposition it, I'd have to remove the gear first (most of it, if not all).

I do and they work great. I picked up one of those packs of 12 from Home Depot so I have some extras when I need to move the dining room table when I vacuum too

There are actually 5 of them under it, 4 at the corners and 1 in the center....the entire setup probably weighs 300lbs.

Thanks Bill, I wonder if those would work with thicker carpet? Diamond case designs said they put sliders on the bottom of my TV cabinet but it is impossible to move with all of the gear in it

I used them when I was inside too and they worked great:

Heck even the couch in the garage as well as the end table I use out there have them underneath....makes cleaning MUCH easier.
