Grand Prix (1967) - Blu-ray Forum

Why isn't this movie on Blu-ray right now?! It was released on DVD and HD-DVD, but not on Blu-ray yet! This is clearly one of the best racing movies ever made, probably of all time! I mean, you got John Frankenheimer in the director's chair and an all-star cast of James Garner, Eva Marie Saint, Yves Montand, Toshiro Mifune, Jessica Walter, and Antonio Sabato, for starters. Who could ask for anything more than that? Warner, please hurry up and release this classic on Blu-ray ASAP!!

I check every week to see if there is updated information about the Blu-ray release of Grand Prix.

-Saw it in initial release, 1966/67
-If one wants to see film editing at it's best this is it.
-Still remember the multi-image opening to the movie. Done by hand no digital work here

Refuse to watch on DVD. I'm waiting.

Sounds like you need an HD DVD player.

Looks like May 2011 may be an interesting month. Being filmed in Super Panavision 70 and presented for Cinerama, Grand Prix will be a stunner on Blu-Ray. Looking forward to it.
