Saw this on Instagram from A24 and picked one up.
No confirmation email yet but my card was at least charged. Can't imagine these will stick around long. Total blind buy, but I've heard way too much about this, and for $20 with free shipping I had to pull the trigger. |

With the popularity of It Comes at Night, you'd think that they're doing a trial run of signed discs before they eventually release more regular and unsigned -- it did say somewhere "We're in the Blu-ray business," right? I wonder if it's a BD-R also, but it looks like a digi-pak that's professionally done. So I guess we'll see. All that being said: I didn't want to wait to find out all of these answers before it sold out, which the 100 LE run apparently has. |

Hopefully that's the case. One hundred copies TOTAL would be a ridiculously low amount.

I imagine the 100 signed copies are just a first edition. Seeing that A24 is a major independent and they've distributed through Lionsgate in the past, it would be unthinkable to believe they would only press 100 copies of a film, no matter how obscure.
I do have to wonder why it wasn't simply included as a special feature on It Comes at Night. It wouldn't be too far off from when Criterion's included feature-length films as extras (The Underneath on King of the Hill, Killer's Kiss on The Killing, Cronenberg and De Palma's student films on The Brood, Scanners, and Blow Out, etc.). Meanwhile, I wonder if this imprint will lead to a domestic Blu-ray release of the only other A24 title that didn't get released by Lionsgate on Blu: Ginger and Rosa. |

I picked it up, and not a blind buy. Was in my top 15 of last year. Amazing film, and I've been wanting a blu ray release since I saw it. Even tweeted at the director inquiring about one back then. He said "hopefully something is in the works." Guess it was!
Now I just need the score on vinyl. Amazing amazing score. |

This honestly kind of pisses me off.
I've been waiting for "Krisha" to get a home video release since March of last year when A24 first released the film and not only does this not get a general release while they push trash like "The Sea of Trees" on people, but they give it an especially limited release with no warning. |
