does anyone know why Diary of the dead isnt coming out on bluray disc may 20th?????????????

Cause the movie got dropped from theatres after a week. It really made no $ but I agree it should be on bluray...

Honestly, this movie doesn't really need to be on Hidef because of the camera style of shooting and not to mention it's a pretty bad movie. I mean have you seen it??

yea i thought it was allright, but the same camera style you mention is used on "cloverfield" and there bringing that out, i think allot of george a romero cult fans will be dissapointed.

It's coming June 30th in the UK.

I'm pretty sure the other BD releases of the distributor (Optimum) have been region free, so you can import it if you wish.

Well I saw it in one of those 42 theaters on opening weekend and I can honestly say without hesitation that I wish to God that I hadn't.

I love Romero's Dead movies, but this one was completely unbearable.

Really, really bad.

It's being distributed by the Weinsteins through the "Dimension Extreme" label, so no blu for now. MAYBE (though doubtful) they'll put it out when they finally go blu.

Anyone wanting this movie on Blu-ray should prepare to import it. It could be a very long wait to see a domestic release of this title.

What are "George Romero cult fans?" (I took the liberty of adding proper capitalization)

Romero is an insightful and talented director. He has many fans because of his good work, we are not a "cult", nor are his films "cult films" and this fan though 'Diary of the Dead' was one of his best!
