Did ANYONE watch the video? I know Madden has a lot of work to do, but the Lions WON THE SUPER BOWL IN THAT VIDEO, hence the title.

I agree completely. EA was so scared of Sega they had to buy the video game rights to the NFL.

Hate to break it to ya but that's the only place the Lions will ever win the Super Bowl, I have doubts they will ever even win a play-off game in the future.

I actually don't agree. I preferred Madden 2005 - 2006 to NFL2K5 and (especially 2K6). Now, the state of the next-gen Maddens has been pretty bad, but they were fine back in their heydey (PS2/XBOX).

There was no 2K6. 2K5 was the last retail installment, and development for 2K6 was under way when EA signed an exclusive licensing deal with the NFL (through 2009, but has since been extended to 2012).

Wait, I'm trying to think now. I thought one of the 2Ks was horribly overrated IMO and I'm pretty sure it wasn't 2K5 (with T.O. on the cover). I remember the one with Warren Sapp on the cover and it wasn't that one. Maybe I'm not thinking straight, maybe it was 2K5 after all (if that was the last real one)... but maybe I'm thinking 2K3. Ended up returning it after a while.

Still, definitely agree that competition made both franchises much much better (especially since we can now see how Madden has fallen...although, it is getting better. NCAA kills it IMO)

Can you put me down tentatively for the Dolphins (I might pick up another team depending on who pays)? I'd like to play, but my only issue is scheduling games with others in between work (full-time), school (part-time), and starcraft 2 (haha). How much time do we normally get to play our games?

If you don't mind. Please post on that thread to make it official that you want the Dolphins.

As far as scheduling games.. it's 1 game a week based off the NFL schedule, and I have NO intentions to make it more than that since I myself can't play all the time.

$6 donation gets you in as official owner of the Dolphins since this is the FIRST annual Blu-Ray prize league.
