Best Buy Special Event

Okay, I apologize if this isn't the right place to start this, but I wasn't sure where it should go, and I figured if it's not right, one of the friendly mods will move it for me.

I just received a call from a Best Buy rep inviting me to a special event this Saturday from 7:30-9:30 for what she said "premium" members only. I can only assume by that she means Silver Reward members. She said the first 50 people would get a free gift and they would be giving away gift cards, etc.

My question is, has anyone ever been to one of these? Is it worth the time? What's the deal here?

I'm unaware of any Best Buy event such as that. All official events would be found in your Reward Zone account online.

Plus Saturday from 7:30-9:30 (am or pm) is a rather odd time for an event. They are almost always Sunday after closing.

call your local bestbuy and find out whats going on. that would be your best bet

They may be wanting to rob me...lol...I don't know why. They must not realize that I have 4 women in the house so I have no money. And it was the local store I shop at...I dialed the number back. Maybe it's a hottie and she likes what she saw the last time I was in there lol.

And my bad on the date...it is Sunday the 5th from 7:30-9:30.

I've been to one before. The free gift was pack of cheap ear buds the time I went. However, I did win a $50 giftcard. You get raffle tickets on your way in, and they call out numbers every 15 minutes.

Guessing it'll be like 10% off nonsale movies, really not the best deal, would be great for those going if I'm proven wrong though.

Not to burst any bubbles but I've attended these before and they are non-events. The discounts offered are not worth the trip. Stay home and order online.

Keep dreaming. From past experiences, I never saw good BD deals in these events. Hopefully, You get lucky.
