Default Lego games on PS3 vs DSi?

For those of you with a PS3 and a DS, are the Lego games the same on both platforms? My son likes to play Lego Batman & Lego Star Wars on my PS3 and we bought him a DSi for Christmas. Now, we are on our way back home from Spring Break and I bought him Lego Indiana Jones for his DSi. He hasn't been playing very long and he showed me the screen and the credits were rolling. Are the games shorter on the DS than the PS3?

Having played only the PS3 version, I wouldn't know the exact differences content-wise between the DS/DSi and PS3 version of LEGO Batman but this is from Wikipedia if it helps some (I hate quoting from them, but it was the quickest thing I could find heh):

Wiki: LEGO Batman

"The Nintendo DS version was altered to accommodate the memory and size limitations of the DS as well as include touch screen controls. Characters' special abilities, such as Batman's grappling hook (when pulling background objects) and detonation capsules, and elements such as switches can be controlled by using the touch screen. Some characters' special abilities, attack moves, and jump moves have been changed. For example, Batman can do double-jumps in the DS version, but not in the console versions. Also, when Batman and Robin use a suit switcher pad, they cannot switch back to the previous suit. There are no cinematics, just slideshows featuring comic book-style panels.

The Nintendo DS version also features several more characters not available in the console versions and includes an exclusive unlockable minigame called "Villain Hunt", which is used to unlock the 14 extra characters: Killer Moth, Man-Bat, Dr. Hugo Strange, Mr. Zsasz, Black Mask, Firefly, Scarface and the Ventriloquist, Ra's Al Ghul, Hush, and the Joker (Tropical suit). Some other characters did not make it into the Story Levels, but can be unlocked in different ways than in the console versions."

Camera angles are big difference. Settings for the levels are mostly the same, but some rooms may be omitted or changed a bit.

My son has all the Lego games on the DS including Harry Potter which we also got for the PS3 and i can tell you that Lego Harry Potter for the DS and PS3 are two very different games

Hmmm, well, I suspected the games would be altered slightly to accommodate for the various controls and touch screen on the DS/DSi. But, I was really hoping the length of the game wasn't changed dramatically. Since it's $20 for the DS version and $20 for the PS3 version, I would feel a little gypped if the game was way shorter on the DS/DSi.
