Does anyone have calibration settings for this TV. I checked on CNET and no review on this one yet. I've tried to eyeball it. Setting would be great.

Has anyone had any luck finding some good calibration settings for this TV yet?

Here's a good place to find it. I know there are a lot of pages...just have to do some searching.

I love this TV, the only problem I am having is finding a good quality long VGA cable that I can hook up to my computer. I purchased 2 different 35 foot cables from monoprice, but they both have horrible ghosting issues.

Other than that, the TV is great. Looks beautiful with my PS3.

I have this TV and really am in love with it. I had researched quite a bit before selecting this one and I couldn't be happier.

As far as calibration settings, I picked up a calibration unit and found that the TV was fairly accurate on STANDARD mode. Not much I had to change. I did make a few changes to another mode and have been fine tuning it to my liking since. I can post what my settings are (when I'm home) if anyone is interested.

I had made a note of my settings before and after calibration and as I said before I tweaked them further. Please tell me what works for you.

Calibration on Standard Mode gave me:

Backlight: 14
Contrast: 94
Brightness: 31
Sharpness: 50
Color: 50
Tint: 50/50

I've got my movie mode for my Bluray set at (not calibrated by machine, but it's based on what the BD Wise bluray player connection gave me. I had to turn off the BD Wise function because it was forcing 24fps and screwing up the audio sync; kept the color settings though.)

Backlight: 12
Contrast: 95
Brightness: 45
Color tone: Warm2
Black tone: off
Dynamic Contrast: off

I'm reading this off my screen but the numbers don't sound familiar. I wonder if something flipped. Try it and tell me how it looks for you. I'll ui

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't calibration settings differ based on the viewing environment (lighting, etc.)? So, wouldn't one man's settings be unique to that individual's conditions in their room and may not necessarily be good for anyone else?

You should a get a calibration disc. I got one for $19 on Amazon new with the filters. Worked great and the nice part about it is the instructional videos.

Mine's the DVE.
