Josh is reporting it in the News section too. I don't see a reference link but it was an IFA announce.

We receive press releases via email, so we can't necessarily give a link to another site.

paramount and ventruer was the big news for hd dvd, its already out. i think they knew what was coming and knew they had to act fast no way they can win. imagine going to bestbuy and trying to decide between hd dvd and blu-ray. you would see sony, sharp, hitachi, samsung, phillips, denon, pioneer elite, all with blu-ray players and then see a lonely toshiba. what are you gonna buy????

HD DVD haven't really bothered to offer the computer industry much to go on.

Do people really think all computer users want readers and not burners?
