Chicago (UK) reg free? - Blu-ray Forum

I was wondering, does anybody know if Chicago UK version is region free? I hope to play this with my reg A PS3. Thanks in advance!

AFAIK it is, I don't have the UK release but remember looking at it in HMV and pretty sure it said ABC. I do own the Region A one though, I imported it in the early days - that IS region free, back then I only had a UK player

Just out of interest, why are you looking for the UK edition? I thought the releases were identical, and as you say you have a US PS3

I have Asia PS3 (I live in Southeast Asia), it's reg A same as US. I'm looking for the UK edition because the price difference is very significant, Amazon US price is $29.49 while Amazon UK only £9.99

and with less VAT it will be around £8.5, what a deal!

HMV is a store in UK yes?

Thanks for your help Matt. It's a Buena Vista release in UK, I believe their current release are 50/50 for reg free

If Matt here is correct, it is region free.

The weird thing is there's no censor stamp on this UK cover as usual

but the cover is slightly different from US version.

Hopefully someone who has this version can confirm.
