I love how I check these TV show wish lists about every month...Makes me feel like the distributors will release the BLUs faster.

All of the shows you guys mentioned are must haves on BLU.

Seinfeld and Scrubs especially for me.
Why is HBO waiting so long to release the second and later seasons of the Sopranos? My first season BLU looks amazing for 1999 film stock.

What about Arrested Development? They should release a complete series box set. Too expensive for most consumers, but I would buy immediately. It'd be so easy too, since it was shot with HD tape from the beginning.

Also Everybody Loves Raymond and The Simpsons (Only if they rescan film masters...probably not gonna happen )

Wait, just checked on Scrubs...As I suspected it was shot on tape.

If I'm not mistaken, Scrubs season 7 is available on Blu. I'm not going to bother until/unless they're all available. Of course, now that I own all the 4:3 DVDs, they've released (or are releasing) a boxed set in anamorphic widescreen.

Yeah man buffy and angel! I fear some was post processing was edited on video in buffy...The cgi effects they used.

That could make early buffy seasons only available in 4:3

However, I feel like angel wasnt handled in such a primitive manner and they used film and converted, and they spent more money making that show look awesome and immersive.

Angel on blu would be awesome. All seasons!

The west wing needs to come out in Bluray!! All seasons, all with widescreen transfers and DTS-HD Master treatments

PLLLEAAASEEE Warner??

They were both definitely originally shot on film. And I'm pretty sure both then edited on video with the effects. I don't think Buffy was handled in a more 'primitive' manner (or had a lower budget) than Angel at all, except for maybe Buffy season 1 (shot on 16mm, but could still look good). Angel's 5th season actually had a much lower budget as well.

As a sidenote, Buffy seasons 4-7 were shot in widescreen and released on DVD in Australia and Europe in Widescreen, but in the US DVDs were still in 4x3, apparently Joss Whedon thinks that Buffy was composed for 4x3 and wasn't mean to be viewed in widescreen... who knows whether that means an eventual BD release for seasons 4-7 would be in widescreen or not. Angel was shot in widescreen from season 2-5, and all the DVDs were released in widescreen, so no problem there.
