Video Camera Suggestions! - Blu-ray Forum

Hello all,
I am planning to buy a video camera next. So, I am here for a few suggestions and advice regarding what to purchase.Its for personal use and for a few music videos which I would like to shoot with friends. Plus,I am still a novice when it comes to filming so I am looking for something that I will be capable of using (I am in highschool). So far the Canon Vixia Series has caught my attention. This is the one I like:

Any advice on cameras would be really appreciated

I am open to other cameras as well.

I have the 2009 model, the S10.

Honestly, I've never used it to take still pics, just video.
