Weird problem with my psn account.

About 2 years ago I got the yellow light of death on my ps3. I accidentally formatted my system or something and ended up starting a new ps id and account on a new playstation.

I was wondering if there is any way to get back into my old account since I can't for the life of me figure out my old password. My main problem is that when I started my new account I used the same e-mail address so now that e-mail is linked to a new username. See what I mean I can't just apply for a new password because it will change it on my new account.

If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it thanks again.

If you could start a new account with the same email address, that probably means your old account is gone. I don't think you can have 2 accounts with the same email address. I might be wrong though.

I tried to make a US account with the same email as my UK account and I'm not sure but I think it didn't like it.

My old e-mail account will not work either, I erased my game/data utility and the system recognizes the account but not the achivements. Ex: Resident Evil 5 has plenty of trophies but it does not recognize the game data, so there is no record of play. My new account and e-mail was the only alternative, hope that helps?

I tried to open second account with same email and it wouldn't let me do it,so Your old accountis probably gone

I can't see how it would be gone though because of the psn id. Aren't trophies internet based. That info has to be floating around out there somewhere.
