Great film, Jamie Foxx's performance was fantastic. Plus all those Ray Charles songs in HD sound should mean definite purchase, but I'm going to wait for reviews. Universal are very hit and miss with their catalog Blus.

I put off watching this film for years (looked terrible to me).

I then picked up the HDDVD (£1.50) and it blew me away. It's a really fab story and VERY well done. It also made me a fan of Foxx whom I had never really noticed until then.

I'll be keeping my HDDVD but if there's something new on the Blu-ray I'll take a look.
