United Kingdom Why haven't UK Blu-ray owners had a DVD2BLU deal?

DVD2BLU

I know it's probably been mentioned a thousand times but why haven't we had a similar deal for the UK from any of the studios?

And wasn't it free apart from P&P in the beginning?

I know we've got some great boxset prices now so it's TV deals are a little high but it was/and is a great idea.

That would be great if something like that happend in the UK, but sadly I doubt it, especially not from Warner Bros., who don't seem to have much respect for the UK when it comes to Blu-rays. In fact very few studios actually have respect for UK consumers.

I think the closest the UK is likely to get to something like this is DMR.

I think I made a mistake when I said it was free to begin with. It was the HDDVD to Blu-ray if I remember correctly.

Lets face it if someone asked you for a straight swap for our DVD's we'd take their arm off....
