My guess is that the DVD autoplays and to access both sound options and captions, you have to use the remote.

Did he die or what? I know he’s an awesome stuntman & great for the horror genre, but does it warrant a documentary, just saying really.

No, he didn’t die. Lots of people out there though love Kane Hodder. Hell, I’d like to see this myself. Maybe it will go into detail about the whole replacing him as Jason fiasco. He definitely was the best Jason IMO.

A lot of it is just fun horror stuff, but a significant chunk of the documentary is him opening up about the burns that cover his entire body and his recovery. It's pretty emotional stuff.

Correct. The included DVD only has the film itself on the disc. No menus or extras like the Blu-ray. So it simply "plays" the film.

It has identical audio and subtitle options as the Blu-ray, but you just choose those manually via remote.

...and that was probably the only time I'll ever even use the DVD disc in the set.

Having met the guy, he is super down to earth, so this is a nice surprise... he also seemed taken aback that I asked him questions about his stuntwork on the first two Best of the Best films rather than about the Friday the 13th films

Have met him several times, most recently at a con earlier this year. He's a cool guy, with plenty of stories to tell. Will definitely check this out.
