I voted for Casablanca, because the best movie of the decade or all-time for that matter didn't win - Citizen Kane.

Having been the only movie that I've seen and is considered one of the best movies ever made. Casablanca

These threads have made the Movie section hard to look at.

Anyhow, I voted for Casablanca (the obvious choice) but Best Years of Our Lives isn't far behind, and is one of my favorite/one of the best movies I've seen.

I've seen all but 3 of these (Going My Way, The Lost Weekend, & Gentleman's Agreement). Of the 7 I've seen, Casablanca takes the cake, with The Best Years of Our Lives coming in second.

Casablanca is the only one I have seen but it is a great movie so I feel justified in saying that it is the best.

I've only seen Casablanca, All the Kings Men and Hamlet. Of those, I would say Casablanca is the best.

Casablanca of course. But kudos to The Lost Weekend. It is a great film dealing with alcoholism. Ray Milland (Hope I spelled it correctly) was brilliant. You should catch it on TCM when you can.

Casablanca is a fantastic movie and unquestionably one of the best movies ever, but I personally revisit and enjoy Rebecca more.

Casablanca is one of the best motion pictures of any era. It's a near perfect film in plot, acting, dialogue, cinematography, score, pace, etc. Rebecca would be #2
