The Cat III Discussion Thread

Hi all. I'd like to make this thread as complete as possible. I'm going to need as much help as possible with this one. I will start by listing the titles that are available on bluray and dvd only titles, followed by titles that are not. ALL help and input and suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I am no expert in this field of film. The lists i will be using as a source are from wikipedia and letterboxd and hkcinemagic

Run and Kill and Red to Kill will be coming to Blu-ray from Error 4444 sometime. They will also be releasing Centipede Horror and Red Spell Spells Red. Perhaps add a coming soon section for titles announced but not yet solicitated.

You can add some HK releases like Hidden Desire, Erotic Ghost Story 2 and 3, Queen of the Underworld, Laboratory of Evil, Lover of the Last Empress, Sex and zen 3, Horrible High Heels, maybe Fatal Vacation (I not sure about this).
Also 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy and The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks 1 and 2.

if it exists, its not listed in the database. i chose to list this https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/3-Extremes-DVD/22910/ because it has both films.

I welcome this thread, but forgive me for saying this and mean no disrespect, this thread could use more organization. I get this thread is only a day old but everything seems a bit all over the place. A lot of international/import releases in here, as well as a few out of print titles it looks like. When you get a chance OP, you should really sort all this out.

Some of those int'l releases are either better prints and/or easier to purchase than older hk releases hence my method.

I appreciate that your listing the cheaper and easier to purchase international releases. God knows I've spent way too much money on NOVA Media's Fortune Star premium HK releases.

the oop titles are also listed to show people that there is an official disc release. its up to the person if they want to chase up a copy or not.

the only title in your suggestions that is listed as a cat3 title over the 3 websites i am using for reference is taxi hunter. hkcinemagic does not list eye for an eye, three days of a blind girl, tales from the dark 1, however, they are listed on wikipedia and a letterboxd list. asking for your expertise here, were those films ever a cat3 and had been reclassified?
