Anyone own The Sadist on Blu-Ray? - Blu-ray Forum

searched high and low for The Sadist on blu ray....and only found it on amazon ($29.99) and diabolikdvd.com ($19.99).....ordered from Diabolik (it was their only 1 in stock), and it arrived today, not sealed, and in a generic blu ray case.

I believe that is the way it was manufactured from Johnny Legend, but I'd like to know if the few copies pressed were sealed?

Unfortunately, I don't remember if my copy was sealed. Hope you enjoy the movie, it looks wonderful in 1080p.

I bought on Amazon. Shipment was from Johnny Legend. No seal DVD-R. Excellent transfer with a very film like presentation. (nice reel change marks and scratches at the beginnings of reels just like at the drive in.) Great sound. Wonderful B&W cinematography by Vilmos Szygmond. Unforgettable performance by Arch Hall Jr. The transfer has really nice grain. No compression artifacting. Comes with a DVD with all the spplements on it. Worth every penny.
