Mafia 2 screen problem - Blu-ray Forum

I have the slim 160gb ps3...never had any problems with it and i have like 6-7 games other than mafia 2...i played the first part of mafia 2 and certain parts the screen flashes or graphics look shakey...like for example when i went into the store to buy clothes...when i look at the clothes theres lines that go thru them then there ok..then when i look away and back at the clothes same thing happens...the game is really fun just weird how the screen has lines or flashes...is it the game or my ps3 tearing up? should i get a new game or install it again or is this the way it is...i dont mind just hope its not my ps3.

Ok i did some looking around..and this is normal with the ps3 version of mafia 2...screen tearing...different textures or no grass...and there is blood but not pools of blood like on pc or xbox...they said this was not a port but 2k hired outside people to do the ps3 version for some reason

As i played on thru the screen tearing comes up here and there but not enough to make me dislike the game..this game to me is way more fun than gta4..and with the couple little things not in the ps3 version they have exlcusive content that comes with the game in a code...So its not my ps3 with the problem which im happy about and the game is very well done..they did so much with the game i dont get why they had to leave out stuff...you can open and close doors..all the enviroment is moveable...when you walk in snow it shows footprints..and the snow on the cars falls off when you drive..when you kill people there still there later they dont just vanish...cops and paramedics come to check things out...if you like mob movies...or these types of games i would check it out at 29.99 with the content youll be happy with your purchase
