United Kingdom Lee Evans Big: Live At The 02

http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProduct...;-1&sku=228317

He is a brilliant comedian, but i'm not sure if his 02 show warrants a BD release.

Discuss.

Great to see some stand-up comedy coming to BD in the run up to Christmas, but I'm disappointed that Lee Evans, while a brilliant comedian as you say, is only having one of his previous shows re-released for Blu-ray, while others like Bill Bailey and Dara O'Briain have new shows coming out.

This is amazing news! Lee Evans is my second favourite comedian ever! I'm really excited about this now, it will be my first stand up show on Blu-ray!

I would't pay £18 for it but if/when it drops to around £10 I'll probably pick it up.

Down to £11.99 on Amazon and Play. Problem is, just £1 extra gets you a 7 disc DVD box set of all of his live shows. I know the box set is DVD, but that's a hell of a bargain for what you're getting, so I am actually a bit torn.

TBH, I don't think the upgrade to a blu-ray of this show is worth it.

I have the 6 disc DVD set (10 discs if you count the double CD versions The Ultimate Experience and the double CD set of the XL 2005 Tour) from back in I think 2006, and it has been a great add to the collection.

The point is, the newest version of the boxset only features the O2 show as a new addition to the collection and does away with the audio CDs, but the bonus features are unchanged.

HD isn't needed for a stand-up comedy show.

Are you sure you don't mean Lee Evans: Roadrunner 3D?
