I Am Legend - UCE Question - Blu-ray Forum

Hello people,i'm interested in picking up the Ultimate Collector's Edition big box that was released in the US in Dec '08.However,it's since been discontinued and a new version has been available since August '10,and it appears that it's identical to the first release.It's listed on Amazon as being £12ish but this seems awfully cheap for a big boxset housing 3 discs,a 44 page book,artcards and one of those chunky lenticular thingies that the Blade Runner set had.So i'm thinking is the image listed on Amazon for this re-release incorrect?
Anyway,if there's anybody out there who's bought this in the past six months could you give me some answers as to what's inside?Cheers!

The newer release is only 2 discs because it's lacking the digital copy. There's some minor changes on the spec sheet to reflect that, but other than that, they are identical. I've had both releases.

Fantastic set -I picked it up for even less a few months back used (although it was still sealed).

Very nicely made item.

Where's the link to a 2 disc version?? Is it in a regular amaray case?

I've picked this up a month ago or so. Great boxset! Everything is included.

As I said, other than being 2 discs, it's identical to the previous digital copy 3-disc release. (Ie the same oversized cardboard packaging)

Lol! There's one on Ebay UK for 21.95 the seller has listed the retail price as £1199.95 so you're getting quite a saving!

Will this cost more for P&P? I'm quite tempted as I don't have the Blu. Are the contents the same as the picture below (apart from the DC disc missing)? I think that's the DVD version below.

It comes to £18.75 with P&P with standard international shipping (£4.12 P&P). Will I have to pay import duties, taxes and fees?

If there's a risk of that should I go up to expedited which comes to £25.17? The standard delivery says Estimated Tax To Be Collected 0.00. Does that mean it should clear customs without charge?

If the value of the item is less than £18 then there will be no import charge as Amazon list the item separately.

The same eBay seller sells it for less than £18 too + shipping http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AM-LEGEND-NEW-...-/290546034616

If they're around the same price I'd got the Amazon route as you know you'll get better packaging as these sets are VERY easily damaged.
