Default Any PURE CANE SUGAR Soda Fans?

Hey all,

What this thread isnt for:

Pepsi Throwback, Mexican Pepsi
Mountain Dew Throwback
Mexican Coke, Passover Coke

Why? Cuz those: Are cut SEVERELY with BEET SUGAR (BLECH) using the smallest amount of Pure Cane, Cane, Inverted Cane, Can Juice, etc

This is for folks who are ever on the hunt and appreciate sodas made with ONLY CANE SUGAR as a sweetner!

The ones I know of:

Goose Island
Jones
Berghoff
Hansen
Dr Pepper (A special plant still makes it with CANE!) I never tried it cuz I dont wana spend $36 for a case to be shipped!

For me, my favorite flavor is Root Beer.

Goose Island: Not bad, but lacking in root beer syrup. 7/10
Jones: Slightly better than Goose Island but again, needs more root beer flavor. 8/10

Berghoff: Pretty decent! Sometimes I get a great batch and its like a 10/10 but usually a 9/10

Hansen: YUCK! BY far the WORST I have had cross my lips. This is touted as all organic...is that why it sucks? The flavor was so icky I even emailed them asking if they were using BEET SUGAR cuz no way did it taste like CANE...they never emailed me back.

So, what are yours?

I'm confused as well. From what I've read, Coca-Cola from Mexico is made with a cane sugar sweetener, i.e. there's no mention of beet sugar usage in its production.

Seeing as Pepsi Throwback is priced similarly to regular Pepsi in groceries here, it's a safe bet that beet sugar (in addition to cane sugar) is used to sweeten this product. Pure cane sugar as the only sweetener would make the 12-packs considerably more expensive.

I've been known to chug a few Hansens in my day. But I gave up soda all together and lost weight in the process.

Generally, when the label says "sugar" theres more beet sugar than cane or no cane at all. Also, when the label says "Sucrose" its pretty much the same only with way more beet. I tried the so called Passover Coke that people are misnformed about as being "real sugar" sure technically, but to me beet sugar isnt cane and I consder cane to be "rea" sugar. Its just a better overall taste and not flat on the aftertase like beet sugar is. Proponents of beet have even tried saying it can used for baking but top cooks and chefs are saying NO WAY, it doesnt cook well when heated and the taste difference is immediate.

But this thread isnt for debate its for pure cane lovers.

Passover coke isn't the same as Mexican coke.

Oh, and the Dublin Dr. Pepper is worth it. It's delicious.
