Watched this last night. Pretty creepy. The audio is probably the scariest part, so it'd be a good blu to have if you got nice surround.

Yeah, it would sound fantastic. I think that the video would look fantastic as well because of the contrast, colors, and film making the film has.

Well when this does come out, I can imagine that the AQ will be great. I saw this in theaters and the surrounds were used very effectively. I didn't like this enough to buy it, but I might rent it just to give it another shot. I thought the film was alright.

Why do you doubt?the original release date for this was last year 2010 around august,im pretty sure transfers have had to been done by now,i know earlier this year alliance was announced as the distributors for the blu ray release in canada

March 2012 is way to long to release on blu.December to January sounds right.Any way can't wait to get this.It was indeed a creepy and cool movie.

I was very disappointed by this movie. When i saw it was written by Guillermo del Toro, I made a point to see it. I was expecting something more along the lines of pan's labyrinth but delivered as more of a horror film and while that was certainly presented, i was never at all thrilled or on the edge of my seat. The direction was beautiful (as were the acting performances) and I loved the gothic style of the film, I just never felt spooked; which for me is a prerequisite for enjoying a 'horror' film. The antagonists (don't want to spoil it by naming) made me laugh and giggle, especially when they talked over top one another; and unfortunately I just couldn't take them seriously.

I expect them to create a beautiful blu-ray as the imagery and audio were incredible, I just won't be owning this one.

I really enjoyed the movie, but when it's released will depend on a Day 1 release. Hopefully post-Christmas or Early January.

it wasn't scary, people were terrified to see this when nothing scary happened. it was an okay movie tho. :P
