Hairspray is now up at the Warner Bros. online site.

Using the coupon code JLBM (or RNFS) will be good for 25% off Hairspray (off their already low prices) and also 25% off any purchase through the end of September. So their price (with the coupon code) is $22.46 for Hairspray.

Below is a link to the Warner's site that lists not only the Hairspray video but all the other available titles under this offer (such as Harry Potter, Blade Runner, etc). Remember, you won't see the final low price until you click on the "place in cart" or "pre-order" button and then enter the coupon code. If your total order is for more than $50 (or $60, don't remember for sure) you'll get free shipping. Depending upon which state you live, you may also get it tax free.

I'm not sure how often deals this good on recent releases and pre-orders will come along. Take advantage of it while you can. And remember, Warners won't charge your card for pre-orders until they are shipped.

Lastly, the official release date for Hairspray is 11/20/07 but this site is showing the "Add to Cart" button instead of the pre-order button for the video. That's likely a mistake, but the worst that will happen is that you'll get the video way before the announced release date. More likely your order will simply by treated as a pre-order.

Well I know it's NOT $29.99 so MSRP must be $39.99 if that's the only choice I have. The "regular" prices that WarnerBros lists on their site are already substantially below MSRP. So the 25% reduction given by the code is off the already reduced prices. This goes for ALL of the products listed.

Although i am happy NL are entering the BD market this is a title of little or no interest to me. Its a pity they did not start with Blade or Final Destination.
