I would say neither right now. Stallone from 1975-1985, then 85-2000 Arnold. Now neither because they have little range and are too old to play the parts they were made for. I did not vote in the poll because there is no way to answer that poll correctly.

Looks pretty neck and neck...
Arnold: Lifetime Gross Total (23): $1,621,940,362 Average: $70,519,146 Stallone: Lifetime Gross Total (33): $1,639,909,420 Average: $49,694,225 Arnold has less movies and a higher average, so I would give him the edge. Sly's had many more bombs/flops than Arnold. Aside from Rocky and Rambo, Sly hasn't had many hits. Whereas Arnold can deliver solid performers that aren't franchise films, like Eraser, True Lies, Total Recall, End of Days, etc. Arnold's comedy endeavours have also been much more successful than Stallone's. And Arnold's a bigger star worldwide as well. Even his recent films that underperformed stateside did solid business overseas. Last edited by Kryptonic; 10-30-2009 at 04:06 PM. |

Arnie has the higher average with less movies. That means if he is put in a movie and it does average it's still 70 mill in the bank, Sly is touch-and-go with a strong possibility of putting out something that sucks. Logan |

I meant as far as total combined grosses, they're pretty close.

I live in California so it definitely isn't Arnold.

It is a very close race but I'm gonna go with Stallone simply for the fact that he has more iconic characters under his belt, even if it is just one more than the Oak. Arnold has the Terminator but Stallone has Rocky and Rambo.
