Default Yogi Bear 2

Watch Out, Yogi Bear 2 Coming Our Way!

Quote:
Yup I bet you were screaming for a sequel to the live-action/CG Yogi Bear? Well scream no more because Yogi's coming back again with Warner Brothers...

Warner Brothers is going back to Jellystone Park with a Yogi Bear picnic lunch sequel. Moving forward right after their hit 2010 release.

Variety's reporting that the Studio's signed the writing team of Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia (two of the writers behind the first movie) to script the sequel project and will be again produced by Donald De Line and Karen Rosenfelt with exec producer Andrew Haas, also Jon Berg's overseeing.

Yogi Bear performed better than expected, making a $100 million in U.S. grosses and grossed another $100 million internationally.

Yogi Bear is the popular Hanna Barbera animated character.
Really happy it's getting a sequel as the first looks to be entertaining.

Same here will hopefully see it soon. I think I'll like it though based on trailers though.

It wasn't very good. I was actually pretty disappointed. The voice of yogi is way off from the original. Overall, the story isn't too bad it's just compared to the original series it doesn't even come close to being as good.

I hadn't been under the impression that this one did well. But if WB is happy - they might as well cash in.

Yeah I thought it only did around $80 million domestic but I guess it made around $100 million which is good enough for a sequel.

Yay!

The first one was actually quiet good and i had fun. The 3D was also very good and had quiet a bit of depth and pop out moments.

Yeah, my first question was "Okay, in which other country was it a hit? "
