Recommend a decent mic for PS3?

I've been using my bluetooth set for my mobile phone, which works adequately but is plagued by short battery life when paired to PS3. I get 5 hours with the phone, but more like 90 minutes for gaming. I don't use it often, but when I do, I'd like to get more than that from it. I need something that does not block ambient sound, because I need to be able to hear wife, pets and especially phone. The first PS3 mic I had was really a poor fit and almost hurt to use, so I obviously lean toward another brand. What do you like?
