Description: Based on the best-selling series of novels by Antonio Manzini, Rocco Schiavone: Ice Cold Murders is a devilishly entertaining Italian crime series that follows the idiosyncratic adventures of cranky and unorthodox detective Rocco Schiavone (Marco Giallini).

In Season One, Deputy Police Chief Rocco Schiavone is exiled to Aosta, a touristy snowbound Alpine town far from his beloved home city of Rome. Already in a bad mood, he is immediately confronted with a series of bizarre cases.

This is really cool (sorry) news, as Kino's Blu-ray will be the first Blu-ray worldwide for the series. In Italy, it is only released on DVD by Rai and only with Italian SDH subtitles, and the only other DVDs I can find are in Germany. There are four seasons of the show so far, with the last being aired and released on Italian DVD in 2021.

This series is SOOOPER GREAT !!!, I just finished watching season 1 and here's a piece of advice, don't order season1 without ordering season 2. Otherwise, you'll finish season 1 dying to start season 2 and hating to have to wait
