Post September is going to BANKRUPT us!!

Is it just me, or is September 2011 shaping up to be the most expensive month of Blu-ray - ever!! My God, I have to work overtime to pay for all those cool titles coming out!

September? $hit, my July is looking to be well over $250, most of that cost is going to be Stargate: Atlantis complete series. With everything that just came out in June, Superman set, LOTR EE set and various other titles, I've spent $295. So, by comparison Sept. is looking pretty light.

Actually, I shot my mouth off too soon. After looking at Sept. release slate, holy crap, there's a good bit I wasn't expecting that I have to get. Just going to have to spread it out and wait for those slow weeks to buy some of it.

I currently have the following Blu-rays pre-ordered for September:
Scarface (Sep. 6)
Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Sep. 16)
Dumbo (Sep. 20)
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (Sep. 20)
Scream 4 (Sep. 20)
Basket Case (Sep. 27)
Thor (Sep. 27)

So yes, I'd say September is going to be a pretty expensive month.

Not for me. I don't give a damn about star wars. The only bluray I'm looking forward to in September is Thor and On Stranger Tides.

I'm going on a Blu-ray buying hiatus very soon unless its an incredible deal. Thus begins the countdown to Black Friday. Won't be buying anything until then.

Yeah it is! I will have to budget accordingly and may have to skip on some or all of the upcoming September releases because I just became unemployed but I hope to find a job before September.

For me I was really looking forward to:
Star Wars
Scarface
Thor
Dumbo

but was also interested in other titles that I will probably have to buy at a much later time now:
Nightmare on Elm St. 2 & 3
Scream 4
Pirates of the Caribbean 4(would have been a blind buy but I already own 1-3)
United 93

I'm wondering if there is a release date for Fast Five yet? I was assuming it would have been scheduled for release in September.

I have money set aside for the BDs that I'll be picking up in September so there'll be no need for me to break my bank.

This is what I plan on picking up:

- Scarface (I want the UK LE box set, if it isn't region locked)
- Dumbo
- Thor
- Ben-Hur - UCE
- Carlos (Criterion Collection)

I'll eventually get these other titles:

- Citizen Kane - UCE
- Star Wars: The Complete Saga (I am a fan, just not enough to get it day one.)
- Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (I heard mixed reviews about this so I'll probably rent it before I make the mistake of doing a blind-buy.)
- The Kennedys
- Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of The Money -- Immersion Edition (This needs to drop drastically in price before I will even consider adding it to my BD collection. )
