Brought the BD from local retailer TS Video in Singapore and was surprised that the PQ is below average. I've compare with my DVD and it turned out that the DVD looks better on my PS3. The worst thing is they 'locked' the cantonese dialogue and English subtitle leaving only Mandarin and Chinese subtitled even though the back cover show Cantonese/Mandarin with Chinese/English subtitled. Have to be very careful when looking for Hongkong BD in Singapore.

Is this a local (Singapore) release?

I have the Hong Kong release and it looks quite good.

It sounds like either a local release or a bootleg. As Pro-B said, the PQ is pretty good on the Hong Kong disc.

It stated released by DM HK (Deltamac), but everything looks so dark including the box which is not the usual light blue colour for Blu ray. It looks suspicious but then the price is right because I do have the DVD. Must be those bootleg from China.

I would say it's a bootleg. I got conned like that when I was in Shenzhen a couple of years ago.

Ya me too, I remember I've grab about 10 pieces of Karaoke blu ray when I was in China. The Blu ray logo was printed on the cover and it turned out that all of them is actually DVD. I thought the Singapore Censor Board is very strict and yet they let such thing slip-by. Disapponited..
