yup. you pretty much just plug it in. unless you want it 12 volt triggered which will be a little more work. may i suggest you reconsider ANY retractable screen though?
I'll tell you why. I have had 6 different screens all electric/pull down and EVERY ONE OF THEM eventually if not right away gets the "W" wave in them which creates shadows and uneven image quality. it drove me crazy!! What I did...and what you should do it use a FIXED FRAME screen..but...don't buy one as they are $1000.00 minimum usually. Go to http://www.buildyourownprojectorscreen dot com and order the material for around $80.00 same stuff Draper uses. It's awesome! Then, build a frame with 2x4 wood...wrap each piece of wood in black velveteen or the like from any fabric store. put the velveteen on BEFORE you assemble the frame...then just stretch the screen material across the back of the frame and mount it to your wall. This is the best screen i've ever had! 120" perfect and mounted to my wall gives an amazing picture image with my Benq W9000 1080P Projector ![]() Total cost for this screen was around $150.00 and will compete with all but the BEST $3000.00 and up screens on the market. I'll try to post some pictures later for you when I'm home Last edited by Pure-Evil; 09-09-2011 at 01:18 PM. |
