Default Jeff Dunham: Controlled Chaos -- September 27, 2011

If this is the same material from his Identity Crisis Tour, and I believe it will be, then this will be really funny. I went to one of those shows and he talked about his divorce, his daughters, Osama Bin Laden, and introduces Achmed's son, Peanut's dummy, and a mini Peanut. The usual characters that appear are Walter, Achmed, Peanut & José Jalapeño on a Stick.

I liked Jeff's work a lot better before he went the "filthy route". His style of comedy has always pushed boundaries, but the last few years haven't been too good, in my opinion. From ranting about Angelina Jolie's breasts via Peanut, to porn with Melvin the Superhero, and much more language than he formerly used, I've really lost some respect for him. I'd be much happier if he'd stay with the "cleaner" material, that made him so successful to begin with.

I actually also prefer the cleaner material. He did spend too much time talking about Angelina Jolie in that last special.

Peanut's worn one shoe for as long as I can remember (and I first saw Jeff in the mid-'90s).

Wow, it's funny how I never noticed that until now. I always thought he was barefoot all the time. I feel like a dork...

I think it will be. The characters that he introduced during his Identity Crisis tour are the same characters in the bottom corners of the cover.

Do they all sound the same as the rest? Dunham's got 2 big failings with me, his voices are all him with a different accent and he's such a biggot. Not really funny anymore.
