Ok, before you say anything - I know how to fix the nat issues for ONE xbox 360. The kicker? How do you fix it for 3 xbox 360s on the same network?
I can not find this answer ANYWHERE on the net and I have been looking for hours. Everyone says do port forwarding. That's fine for ONE xbox 360, but what about the other 2 ? You can't port forward the same ports to 3 different systems. Impossible. So, anyone know how to get 3 xbox 360s to work on live without any nat issues? I can get one to say OPEN on nat. The other two will say MODERATE or STRICT. Linksys support is a joke. Netgear support is a joke. Xbox live support is a joke. All are foreigners (no offense) that have no clue what I am asking them. They give me some random answer and I am like WTF? I ask, what routers support MULTIPLE xbox 360s on the same network? They only tell me about what routers support xbox live. I have reviewed the list, nothing helps me. Please, if you all have any ideas - let me know! |

You have run into a tricky situation... What you need to do is configure each xbox to listen on a different port and forward that port accordingly. Only problem is I don't know if you can do that or not within the xbox.

Do you have a spare switch or hub sitting around that you could use to set up a DMZ with?

Thanks, but I am not wasting my time on the phone anymore. The people on the other end have no comprehension of "tech support" at all. They spew out garbage and crap which resolve nothing. It's like their goal for the phone call is to make you repeat the same thing 100 times and still act like they don't know what your talking about and place you on hold numerous times while they "research" the issue. Then they come back with some off the wall answer. At that point, I give up.

I'm using an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n router.... I've got 4 laptops, 3 xbox360s and a desktop working off of it.
All 3 of the XBOX360's are connected directly to the router and everything else is wireless...... no problems here. I have also used one of the Linksys 802.11b wireless routers for a few years before the Apple and never had problems..... perhaps its your router? ![]() Also, all of the XBOX360's were opened from their boxes, plugged-in, and worked. I never once changed any of the settings to get them to work. Just try setting everything to "Automatic" instead of assigning the IP Addreess, Gateway, etc.... manually.
