I cannot find the old thread. Don't know why or what happened to it.
But I got this release from Sunfilm and it is at most dissapointing ! maybe even the worst dissapointment I had on Blu-ray ! I know Sunfilm's reputation is not the best, but i'm sure gonna avoid them from now on. The picture quality is just terrible ! Nobody can tell me that this is how the film is supposed to look. Unless the film was shot on very cheap 16mm and blown up to 35mm. But even then it could better then this. It is riddled with background noise, colors are dull and it is far from detailed and sharp. I put in my Dutch DVD afterwards and to my surprise it looked almost identical. Maybe I was expecting to much from this upgrading my DVD, but it was sure not worth it ! Anyone else who got this release and see it differently ?
