Can anyone name this movie? - Blu-ray Forum

Hello, this is my first time creating a thread, and I hope one such as this does not already exist, though I cannot find one.

So I have been searching off and on for a long time for this 80's/early 90's Horror movie that I watched when I was a kid, and no luck.

What I remember from this movie is fragmented but I'll give as many details as I can: I remember a scene where a girl falls off a roof and these "monsters" catch her and kidnap her away and her boyfriend is unable to stop them. Another scene I recall is of her boyfriend on skateboard going to rescue her (probably near the end). And then I recall him finding the monsters lair/hideout where the girl is being held and they make him select a room out of maybe 4 or 5 rooms that she could be in. He ends up chooses wrong. Oh, he also has some sort of device that is supposed to "stop" or "kill" the mosnters, but doesn't work when he needs it.

Could that be The Gate? I have just vague memories of it, but that sounds similar. It's the one where some kids discover they have the gate to Hell (I think) in their backyard. Maybe?

I was just thinking the same thing! And speaking of The Gate, it would be great to have it release in Blu-ray.

Nah it's not The Gate. There was no such device or a boyfriend/girlfriend type situation in that film. Although what he's describing sounds interesting. I kinda wanna know what it is now.

I agree, pretty sure it's not The Gate, although I haven't seen it since I saw it in the theaters. Hopefully someone can name it.

Unfortunately no it isn't The Gate, I did enjoy that movie back in the day though. I wish I could give more details of the movie I am talking about but that's pretty much all I can remember.

Hopefully there'll be some more replies soon

Sounds like "Little Monsters" but it was his brother that was kidnapped, and flash lights could kill the monsters, but it fails at the end.

Haha Little Monsters does sound similar but that isn't it either! The one I remember wasn't a comedy, but who doesn't love Little Monsters
