I've got a Mitsubishi HC6500 and was wondering if the PQ of the Epson will be that mach better. I need to replace my lamp soon so that's way I'm asking this question. Maybe I should just replace the lamp on my HC6500. Also Fry's has a great deal on the 8350.

If it was me, I would hold on to the Mitsubishi for the near term and replace the lamp. If your serious about trading out projectors save up for a Epson model that will have a more noticeable improvement in black level from your Mitsubishi than say the 8350. I think the 8350 is the Epson that will show the least amount of improvement from what you have.
