Default LG BD570 vs. Panasonic DMP-BD85K

I'm looking to upgrade to a wi fi enabled player with built in wi fi. I think I have narrowed it down to these two players. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with either model and how does each model do with upconverting and blu ray play back.

Thanks in advance

I'm leaning towards the Panasonic. I have had a lot of Panasonic electronics over the years and they have always worked well. I still have a Panasonic stereo that I have had for 16 years and still works great. I have heard that the Panasonic blu ray players have a good reputation for actually working and playing blu rays as well.

I know Panasonic has Amazon video on demand and LG has VUDU and pluses or minuses on those two services?

I have had the Panasonic for several months now and am very satisfied. The Blu-ray picture quality is excellent as is the upconversion for DVDs. No complaints at all.

I hope by the lack of conversation here, I made the right choice.
The Panasonice DMP-BD85K will be delivered today.
I am tired of waiting to watch Ironman 2 without it freezing up On my LG BD -370 and no firmware updates
Such a good movie, being interupted 5-6 times while viewing. I have had other disks doing the samething sometimes.

I know it's been a while since you wrote on here, but how is the player living up to your expectations?
