Which Of These Movies Will Turn Blu? - Blu-ray Forum

This question probably gets old, but just wanted to get some of your opinions of some of these movies ever coming out on blu-ray in the near future. Tell me what you guys think which ones will make it eventually and which ones will never see the light of blu.

Yeah, i'd put money on Meet the Parents since it will more than likely just be an HD-dvd port over. I'd like to see Eurotrip though.... Scottie doesn't know! Scottie doesn't know oh oh!

Menace II Society is a classic that needs to be blu ASAP. But I doubt the studios will give it any love. Probably slap a weak encode onto a BD-25 with a dolby digital soundtrack. Oh well...

Blood In Blood Out was great too. But I cant see them turning it blu any time soon.

Hopefully everything gets released on blu-ray at some point.

Some of the ones listed I'm looking forward to on blu-ray (and hopeful that they'll come out sooner rather than later) but just trying to think about it from a studio release point of view, I think it'll be a while before we see most of those. Maybe Desperado has the best shot at being released sooner rather than later. For me, I'd like to have White Men Can't Jump as soon as possible. It's one of my favorite comedies. Others I'd be interested in, Selena, Desperado, Mortal Kombat, A Night at the Roxbury, and heh, maybe Eurotrip and one of the Mighty Ducks movies. I'd probably get Blood In Blood Out as well, oh, and maybe Hook. Hook might be a good one for hi-def.

Angels in the Outfield is now playing on Comcast HD On-Demand. It looks extremely good, it should look fantastic in 1080p. Disney has apparently taken good care of it.
