I use Movie Label 2013 now:
http://www.codeaero.com/movie-label/

I used DVD Profiler in the past but it seems development came to a halt more or less. I also like the UI of Movie Label better..

Is it possible somehow to import our collection here at blu-ray.com directly into any of these programs? it would save a lot of typing

If you can export your collection here into a text file, you can import it into Movie Label 2013.

I use DVD Profiler and My Movies. My Movies will work in Windows Media Center and you can browse your entire collection from inside WMC

I also use My Movies and love the fact that I have an offline and online database. It helps when I'm out shopping and want to look at something in my collection.

I have been using DVD Profiler for over 4 years now and love but my fav thing about the software is the "Upcoming" feature in the Add to Collection, it really helps me keep and up to date "wish list". There are so many new releases coming out now its hard to keep track, but with this feature I can keep up with almost every new release either dvd or blu and either feature or tv series and also other regions as well. It very seldom does it not have something I am looking for and its a one time fee only. In the 4 plus years I have never had to pay for an upgrade.

Just my 2 cents

I want to thank everyone for their recommendations. I decided to go with DVD Profiler. Finally I get to archive my collection.

Great choice, been using dvd profiler for several years and love it. I just use xbmc and ant movie catalog to catalog recorded movies/shows on my htpc.

Do any of these give you the option of linking a video file to the Movie in your collection? I'd like to rip my DVD's to have a digital collection and it'd be cool to have a nice organization program that also allowed me to start watching it right away

Movie Label 2013 do. It can even scan your drive for movie files automatically.
