Given the number of strategic announcements lately and in particular JVC and their position in the BDA I thought i'd post this article quote by the Italian AVMagazine:

The article states that the two companies have joined forces in order to improve their current positions on the auto-electronics market. Their first joint-venture however will be in the aviation field. The important bit here, as far as the Blu community is concerned, is that this new partnership "will extend to other areas as well".

Given the two companies' current positioning on the hardware market I think that this is a rather potent announcement.
