Exclamation Sharknado blowing onto Blu-ray - September 3rd, 2013

Watch out folks, a Sharknado is coming! If you're thinking "Does that really sound like what I think it does?" IT DOES!. It's a movie about a tornado comprised entirely of sharks. It bites its way onto the Syfy channel on July 11th, and will then blow its way on to Blu-ray on 9/03/13.

It has such noteworthy stars as Ian Ziering (9021-whoa!), Tara Reid, and the name on the tip of everyone's tongue John Heard himself.

Quote:
Synopsis

When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air.

Oh my.... We have a winner for most absurd idea and even more absurd title for a movie of the decade.... Though I think this could have been a fun ride, maybe 30 years ago... With the cheesy effects I'm sure it will have now, though, no bueno.

I don't know why they are so obsessed with shark movies, but I am so very happy about it.

Loved how they used stock footage of flooding for some of the scenes.

I love a good killer shark movie as shown here: http://www.thissideofthetracks.ca/#!Shark Films/c145m

But that does not look like one.

I;m sure I'll watch it eventually but I'm not expecting to like it!

It's crazy how much it's being talked about on Twitter. Will be interesting to see the ratings. I actually feel left out now . Will actually have to rent the Blu-ray. Will make sure to get drunk before watching it though .

A lot of celebs tweeted about it. Mia Farrow, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, BJ Novack, Clark Gregg, Greg Berlanti, and more.

Twitter did indeed blow up. I missed it, but I'll have to have the Blu now!

I'm pretty sure that Twitter would melt down if everyone watched Troll 2 on the same night.

Well to be fair all those Scifi movie cheese fests use cgi or they would never get made. It's part of the cheese and though I prefer non-cgi heavy films in this case for these type of films I'm ok with it.

About 1 out of every 10 scyfy channel films is worth a crap. With 24 hours a day to fill they run out of good material pretty quick.
