Default I need a little help with a region free player.

Hello,
I live in the US and recently bought several Blu-rays and Dvds from Amazon UK. I forgot about them being Region 2. I have been looking for a region free player to play them on. Do you think I would be better off just buying a Blu-ray player from amazon uk to play them on? Would I run into any power cord problems? Also, if I found a region free blu-ray player would it also play that same region dvd? Sorry for the questions. Thank you in advance!
Joshua

You can pick up an Insignia for cheap and it can be made region free with the right firmware and a few key presses on the remote.

You can read more about the Insignia's in this thread:
