Default It's official, Drive (2011) doesn't play on my PS3

OK, finally, the movie hit the shelves in my country. Unfortunately enough, it's a French production-release, thus meaning there are no English subs (I always watch my movies in OV + Eng subs)

I put it into my PS3. A picture-menu pops up asking "French" or "Dutch" for the Menu language. After picking EITHER of those, there's a 3 second blank, and then "HDMI lost signal" sign pops up.

Inserted it into my Sony VAIO: it works past the French/Dutch menu, although the movie immediately starts (reminds me of the old Warner releases)

For any French/Belgian people owning the movie, do you have that problem too? I've changed my copy today, and I STILL have this problem. Now, I see that the US release of Drive is Region A locked and as an awful cover, to say the least ... Oh well ...
