G'day folks. My mother has bought me a new player for Xmas, the Pioneer BDP 140. I don't have use of it yet, i have to wait until Xmas. The guy at JB that we bought it off ($166 reduced from $198) swears that it is region free for both DVD and Blu. I haven't had much luck finding any info on the web about this player and it's region free capabilities. The JB guy said that a couple of days before we were in there, that someone came in with a few region A titles and they all played on the BDP 140. I don't own any region A discs so when i open it on Xmas morning, i can't check to see if he was on the level or just trying to sell me a Blu-ray player. Would anyone be willing to send me a region A disc, which i would return after checking, so i can see if this player gives me a green light to start importing from the US? Thanks.
Cheers, Carcuss. ![]() |
